Shopping Terms
*Plants are sent out as soon as possible after receipt of payment, (usually within a week), unless agreed otherwise with the customer.
*Customers will be notified if there is a delay in sending out their plants, which is usually due to the plants not being big enough to send out. If the customer would rather not wait then the order can be cancelled and a refund offered.
*If plants become unavailable at the time of order, the customer will be e-mailed or telephoned for substitute suggestions. If no substitute is required then a refund will be issued.
*Orders can be made online, by telephone, fax, or post. Payments can be made by cheque, cash or credit/debitcard (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo, Switch).
*The English Cottage Garden Nursery cannot be held responsible for plants that do not thrive after planting. This is because a number of factors could be involved, such as planting position, inclement weather conditions, or even just a fickle plant which has refused to abide by the rules and grow properly! However, we will replace plants that arrive damaged as long as we are notified within three days of the customer receiving the plants and details provided about what is wrong with the plants. This does not affect your statutory rights.
*If you have any complaints about our service please e-mail or telephone us. We are keen to provide our customers with a good quality service and product and would rather you complained to us than to a friend! Complaints will be acknowledged within five working days.
*As the products we offer are perishable, the English Cottage Garden Nursery is exempt from giving customers the right to cancel the contract, as required by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
