P.  Large bristly leaves and tall, thick stems topped by blue globular flowerheads.  Ht about 5 ft.  Very striking plant.

P.  Neat, cushion habit of very thin leaves and upright panicles of white flowers.

Helenium hoopesii - Orange Sneezeweed 
   

P.  Bright yellow inverted daisy flowers.  Ht 60 cm.  Flowers May to June.  Lance shaped leaves.

Hollyhock "Happy Lights" 
   

B.  Ht 6 - 6.5 ft.  SAtrong stems with a variety of coloured flowers.  Most rust-resistent Hollyhock.

Hollyhock "The Watchman" 
   

B.  Ht 4 - 6 ft.  Large maroon flowers.

Hollyhock (althaea rosea) 
   

Tall stately biennial plants producing huge single flowers in different colours.  Traditional cottage garden plant with some medicinal uses.  Reduced to clear.

Jacob's Ladder (polemonium caeruleum) 
   

P.  H.  WF.  Beautiful lilac or white flowers and fern-like leaves.  Forms a good-sized clump.  Ht about 2 ft (60 cm).  Flowers June to August.  Plant in sun or shade.  Prefers damp soil.
