All contact with our customers is usually via e-mail - therefore if you have placed an order please check your e-mail regularly!

REFUNDS/RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS

The English Cottage Garden Nursery cannot be held responsible for plants that do not thrive after planting. This is because a number of factors could be involved, such as planting position, inclement weather conditions, or even just a fickle plant which has refused to abide by the rules and grow properly!

However, we will replace plants that arrive damaged as long as we are notified within 24 hours of the customer receiving the plants and details provided about what is wrong with the plants. The plants MUST be signed for as damaged if they have arrived by courier otherwise no refund or replacement is possible.

As the products we offer are perishable, the English Cottage Garden Nursery is exempt from giving customers the right to cancel the contract, as required by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.

SUBSTITUTION

If plants become unavailable in the time between you placing your order and us receiving it, we will telephone or e-mail you to see if you require any substitutes. If no substitutes are required a refund will be issued.

GIFTS

If you want to send plants etc as a gift, this can be arranged at no extra cost, with the inclusion of a small card with wording of your choice.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaints about our service please e-mail or telephone us. We are keen to provide our customers with a good, friendly, quality service and products and would rather you complained to us than to a friend! Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours.

You may have noticed that we have teamed up with Trust Pilot to collect customer reviews after they have had their orders. If you have the time and the inclination it would be most appreciated if you could review us as this helps us improve on customer service. It also serves to tell potential customers how wonderful we are if you have enjoyed shopping with us!

If you feel something has gone horribly wrong with your order (and we hope you won t!), please tell us and we will do our utmost to sort things out for you. If customers do not tell us when something is wrong we then don t get the chance to put it right and we are blissfully unaware of the unhappiness and irritation you have endured! We want customers to be happy and come back to us again so please do get in touch if something is wrong.
