Also known as Owls Claws. Hardy perennial. Found in the wild in mountain meadows and moist places in western USA. Ht 1 - 3 ft. Grey-green lanceolate leaves and yellow-orange flowers 2 - 3 ins wide with drooping rays and same colour centre disc.
Toxic to sheep.
